I have just infilled mums nails, usually I do a clear ezflow l&p with 87 bio over the top, but this time I thought I'd take a shortcut and use cover pink all over instead as its a similar colour.....mistake !!!!

It was patchy and when shaping and blending in I took off some of the pink so it was even more patchy it looked nasty and I had to paint over them

Any tips please ?

be very careful about your mix ratio. to maintain a consistant colour throughout you must ensure that the ratio is the same for every bead you use.be sure to wipe your brush the same amout of times on the edge of your dappen dish and to count whilst you pick up the powder to improve the consistent nature of each bead.
apply each bead and feather the edge into the nail . overlap with the next bead and blend it smoothly into the previous application. think of it like roof tiles, overlapping. this will help to blend any slightly different colours together more seamlessly.
