I'll be first to admit im a tad accident prone but I do TRY to look after my equipment. After all it has cost me money! Ive managed to get monomer on my beautiful creative crystal touch pro styler 8 brush. I know thats not the way to go lol One is not amused and its gone a bit 'crackly' looking. I wanna know if anyone else has experienced the same thing and how I can ensure I don't do it again :)

When I started out I used to get this with my brush, for me often it was when I was getting the bubbles out of my brush in the monomer, the brush handle would touch against the side of the dappen dish and would get monomer on it. Obviously it doesn't do the brush handle much good, but remember it is also an overexposure hazard.....

If your handle isn't too bad try giving it a swipe with scrubfresh or acetone, you may even be able to 'buff' it back up with your files to get it looking nice and shiny again xxx

Use Solar Oil on the handle hun ... I would not advise Acetone or Scrub Fresh as it may cause worse cracking than you have.

I guess if you only have a few cracks Solar oil is definitely that way to go, maybe even buff it in as you would your enhancements.

Mine, many moons ago was beyond that. The handle was 'sticky/tacky' and a swipe of acetone removed it. Then after I had buffed it it was fine.

Hey not thought of that, I will use some solar oil. Can I ask if I am talking to Gigi Rouse?

thanks, I think acetone would make it worst but it does sound like the reason for what has happened
