new to this site and couple of questions and advice required from all you experts out there please............

1) i sculpt using cnd white and pink acrylic. all looks fine when i first do them. after a week or two though the white does not look so white anymore and the pink is not as good either. I look at other peoples and it seems the white and pink is so vibrant and mine look dull in contrast. what could i be doing wrong to cause this.? I have changed my brush but no different.

2) when i infill cannot always get rid of the line and it still shows when fill in. also due to the above it looks rubbish in my eyes. don't want to do a full rebalance everytime. I have had no complaints but like to feel pleased with that i do and pretty self critical.

3) i have read the million dollar smiles tutorial and they are getting better. however the line is not as crisp as i would like. bit wishy washy at times as white and pink merge. any hints on a crisp smile line?

would try to post some pictures but not a scooby doo how to do that. when figure it out will put some on.

thanks in advance you all. :)

I think pics will help us to get a better idea... you can upload them to your Profile Album.

I have changed my brush but no different. there could be two causes - the first may be your mixed ratio, do you feel this is always perfect? The way you were taught?
the second would be that your finishing is not quite up to scratch (excuse the pun:)) if you are not giving the nails a perfect finish, then they will become dull, stained and more 'scratched' as the days go on.

your finish (with your files and buffers) should look and feel like glass when you are done...even if you then wish to apply some sort of enamel or topcoat, although if your finish is perfect then you will not need anything else.

i think a combination of these two things should sort your problem:)

thanks guys i will get onto the picture thing and take your advice on board to try and improve.

i sometimes think my ratio is a bit wet maybe. should drop the bead and get another.

i use girfriend buffers etc but will look to improve the finish. solar oil could be used a bit more by clients if they honest. you sell it to them but who knows. prob got a cupboard full of it at home if not using it.

thanks again

will be in touch.

Hi!

I think it may be you are using too much liquid to powder...this may cause your nails to go yellow...I also agree with the other geeks...you must properly finish your nails. :)

I sometimes think my ratio is a bit wet maybe. Should drop the bead and get another. no need to ditch the wet bead, just double dip i.e. Go back into your pwder until you get the right ratio. Only ditch a dry bead as you can do nothing with it except fight lol!!
