I applied a set of Tammy Taylor odourless acrylics to a work colleague 4 weeks ago, I did an infill 2 weeks ago and noticed they were going slightly yellow, she does use fake tan so thought it may be this, but I'm sure I also read on here that the odourless products tend to go yellow, she has now asked me to do a rebalance, I had a look of them today and theyre abolutely fine, no lifting or anything but they are even more yellow than before, so I'm going to redo them with the CND acrylic. I'm assuming then that I have to completely remove the TT product before applying the CND, or could I just file them completely down and apply the CND on top.
(Probably a silly question, but just want to make sure before I go and soak them all of if its not required!)
thanks

Hi hun

You will have to soak the them off & reapply.. Never mix products can cause service breakdown... hth x

Thanks, thats what I thought but just need confirmation.

I know that TT instructs that you must apply the l&p while the primer is wet, this can cause yellowing as well.

If theres no lifting I would just file down and apply the CND. I don't consider this as mixing products as they don't mix, just sit on top of eachother.
But don't know the TT so not to sure...

Don't waste your time with a soak off if the nails are in good condition, just rebalance as normal with CND.
I dont use either of those products but i'm sure there is no reason you can't rebalance the TT with CND.
The current product is already cured so there will be no mixing.
