Do we have a lash Guru/master on Salon Geek?

We have a nails guru, a waxing guru and others but do we have a eyelash extension guru?

I have lots of questions I would love to ask but I dont know who to ask as it seems a lot of us are quite new to lashing. I realise that we can all contribute and bring our different expriences and ideas together but its just nice to have a wise ol owl on board if you know what I mean?

I have made a suggestion that maybe SG could add a lashes forum so we dont clog up the skin forum, after all we have hair, nails, skin....why not a lashes?

I am afraid you have a lot of wanabe gurus on here, mostly training companies that have a valid interest in what they are selling or telling on here or via PM!!!!!!

Or their "familiars" (watch the blade films you will understand) pounding the pavements for them.

Many have just been doing this a few years and start a training company up, its simple to be a lash trainer.

Love me or hate me, look at my in depth replies on lashes when people claim some funny things like, Tape and Vaseline.

There are lots of threads concerning lashes so why not either do a search or ask the questions you want to ask. I find it is always worth a few different views on things rather than rely on one person alone!

There are several good lashers on here so don't be shy just ask!

I sometimes find things a little misleading on here, but susan evian (as seen above) usually tells it like it is lol

I am interested in EVERYONES views, experiences and tecniques but obviously those with a little more experience are more likely to have come accross some of the things I am asking about.

I had a nice email from Redchick who offered to help answer my questions, she has been lashing for quite some time and seems really lovely. A few ladies answered my blog to and were really helpful.......so thanks to those ladies for being so supportive and not shooting me down. Its really hard when you first start out and the last thing you need is a kick in the teeth

believe me you'll learn!
keep a look out and read all the threads that you can, loads of good advice!!
I've been lashing for a year now, you can never have enuf knowledge, thats how you stay top of your game!
i do agree thou that some on here should leave their attitudes at the log in page lol

Cabinkel is really nice, knows a lot about lashes and does beautiful work. Laura Grant also does beautiful work. Loubylou too. Redchick did a couple of great threads about lashes. Have a search for them.
