Do you think this is really cheeky?

Hi ladies i need your help.

I had a client ring me today to ask for a spray tan because the lady that does it usually is going on holiday today and cant do it.
I say yes and book her in.(mobile, at her house)

She then sends me a txt to cancel.

I then get another txt saying actually she will have the tan after all as she thought her friend could now do it but she wont be home in time.

I am thinking of actually saying sorry i have booked someone else in now (i havent) just for the pure fact of she is kind of telling me 'oh sorry, i will have you after all because you will have to do'
I probably wont re-book her in the future as she goes to someone else anyway.

What would you do?
Help i need to ring her back!

My first thought is the same as you...but my business head kicked in and I would not cut off my nose to spite my face.

Do the treatment, take her money and you never know she might be back or at least recommend you to someone else.

Do the tan, you may be better than where she normally goes and get a client for life!

Thank you huni i have taken your advice and booked her in. I have a bad habit of cutting my nose off to spite my face.A habbit i am trying to get out of ha ha.
I just hope she doesnt cancel again.

i would feel the same as you but would do it will all the same gusto as i would any one else and take her money at the end of the day its an appoinment and she may well recommend you, you may be better than her friend and she might convert just smile through it hun )

do the tan! she only cancelled coz she thought she could get a cheapy from her friend.....

instantly id think the same as u....but like previously said...my business head kicks in to, and the likely is she thought she could save a few pounds by her friend, take the money, its what u need to live by, always goin to be clients that do that, smile sweetly, go out of ur way with professionalism and who knows u may get repeat business from it.....but it she rebooked and kept doin the same, then uv got the problem hth

I wouldn't have done for the simple fact that first impressions last with me, and if someone is prepared to let me down on a first appointment because she had the chance of a cheaper option then she'll continue to be a PITA. Some people are just like this and I can spot them miles away.
I'd rather not have the client.

Do the tan really streaky!! (Just Kidding). I get this sometimes and have to remind myself that they are paying me to help me to get over the cheekiness of it all haha. x
