Do you use Nail Pinchers when doing acrylics?

I am in need of a bit of help / advise from my lovely fellow geeks.

I have just been watching a nail tutorial from the lovely Gemma Lambert. Gemma used Nail Pinchers on the nails whilst the acrylic was setting I assume for the perfect C curve.

I have never come across this before and wondered just how many of us do this? Is it worth me getting this tool?

Well to get back from it's tangent........!!
My final answer would be, if you think this will be a good technique to use on your nails having read what has been posted on here, then get some training on how to pinch properly, don't just buy the pinching tongs !!
Like I said before, it is like using an efile, OK if you have been well trained.

A 1-2-1 session would be enough if you are already confident in your application skills.
