think so.

only say this because i know u can buy hair colour when not qualified....do you not have a student card?

think you can but you pay full price, where as if you are qualified you get the trade prices... xx

No Im learning with young nails. Ahh poo, guess ill just have to pay full whack then!! lol xx

If your learning with Young nails you should be able to buy what you need from them, have you asked your trainer,
i know sally's are changing things so that they don't sell to the public any more,
all my local sally's only sell to professionals now so i would give them a call and double check the policy, hth

I was in a Sally's the other day.....first time ages, but because I had read on here that they now need proof of qualifications I had taken some certificates with me , and I did get asked for them as I wasn't a card holder. They gave me the application form for a ard but warned that there was a huge backlog because of this change of policy.

I think though that you could take your receipt/invoice from Young Nails to show you are doing a course with them, ansd Sally's may accept that ..... worth a try.
HTH

Why the heck are you not buying form YN? What is the point of learning with a system to then go and buy from Sally's??

Got to say that this was my first thought too!!

Then I saw it was only Acetone and tips she wanted.......a lot of people buy the cheap tips from Sally's to practise their smile lines etc on, and keep their good tips to actually apply to their clients. No point in wasting your good tips practising smiles and possibly colour designs on.

BTW I was only in Sally's buying a pump dispenser for a friends nail varnish remover, before she totally ruins her coffee table lol!!!!

my local sallys has changed and they only sell to trade people now so you will need to check if you are able to buy as im not sure if they all changed.x
