Can anyone offer me some advice as it really is starting to drive me nuts when it comes to rasping hard skin!! I tend to spend too much time rasping the feet and then run overtime but can't help but try to give the client value for money.

Is there a happy medium? Is it possible to get rid of most unwanted skin in one treatment? I have considered purchasing an electic file to speed up this part but is this really neccessary?

What do you use and how long do you spend on this area?

Many thanks

Callus peel as mentioned above - it is FAB!!

I use an e-file with a pedi bit and that works well for dry skin areas. That is different than a callused area. I instruct my clients to use a good quality lotion on their feet between visits, which makes for a good retail item. Callus treatments need to be handled very carefully when using on clients. In fact I don't use them because I don't want to risk getting it on an area on their foot where there is no callus as it can cause reaction. But that is just my opinion!

Have to say, an e-file works wonders if you have one and don't have Callous Peel. Of course you need to be trained in e-file use before using one on a client.

I would say callus peel too - I bought one from capital (cuccio make it) it wasn't that expensive. L

Where do I get an e-file from? And who does training? My Chiropodist uses a Dremel Drill with a sanding bit! Works wonders but looks a bit scary!

I use an electric file that looks a bit like a drill.. It does seem a bit scary seeing as it makes a mad noise and i have to wear a mask over my mouth and nose (which gives my clients a laugh) as thre is a risk of me breathing in the dead skin (it comes off like sawdust) horrible i know but its sooo effective.. my clients love it and im not stressed out either as the machine does all the work and the results are better than with any manual file, also i dnt soak the feet before i use it as its more effective not too. Instead afterwards i apply some sloughing off lotion and while thats drying i do the cuticle work. So I would go for one of these hun hth xxx

What would you charge for a callus peel treatment I was thinking of adding this to my treatment list and not sure of what to charge. Thanks XX
