If you have used both which do you reccomend Essie or opi polish?

I like them both.

OPI OPI OPI (football chant)

opi i love the brush also but try shellac :D

Ooooooo OPI deffo!!!!!

I've used both and love them but I do find Essie lasts longer, has better colours and doesn't go as thick so quickly.

I've used OPI and never had any problems, but I felt Essie was more salon exclusive. Love Essie - wears well, fab colours, retails easily.

Totally agree:green: I love Wicked and Pink Parka Essie colours. Lasts for ages without chipping.

I have OPI colours I have had for years without it thickening.Try ensuring there is no polish on the rim of your bottle thus stopping lid from being closed fully and allowing air to get in which thickens the polish.

Also I find the brush to be absolutely perfect, certainly never thought it was too big.I love OPI though I too would like more colours.

I have tried both and use both on myself and I must admit I do love the OPI colours, especially the Suede collection but I wish they had a larger variety of the colours.

Essie have some pretty good colours, of which I only have 4 mainly because I'm broke and can't afford anymore!

The brush with OPI is fine, but as I only have small nails, sometimes painting on my little fingers can be tricky, the same with a couple of my friends.

Overall I like both and would continue to buy more of each brand if I had the pennies.

I have a ton of nail polish mostly OPI/China Glaze/Zoya, their awesome and have a GREAT shelf life whereas the Essie's I have barely got used and have turned to muck after a while- unusable. I did not find the polishes went on or wore as well as any of the other brands. Also, I don't know about in the UK but over here, the public can buy Essie (and OPI, for that matter - only at more pricey boutiques/public beauty suppliers). I could swear someone on beautytech said Essie was actually being sold at their Shopper's Drug Mart, which is an extremely popular store here. :suprised:

It has to be Essie all the way for long lasting colour.
