Ex therapist has taken client record cards!

Hi everyone,
Bit of a bother really and have no idea who to tell or speak too!

Basically an ex therapist whom has been sacked due to confidentiality breaches has taken a majority of our client record cards!

I know she has contacted a few of our clients.
Who do I report her to?!

Yes I would definatley report her. It's a breach of client confidentiality and if she was employed then they belong to the salon and not her.

Definitely phone the police, and stress the sort of private information they hold, as it's effectively also a data protection breach.

Thankyou everyone! I've reported her and got advise from the beauty guild as to what could be done next.

We too have found out she's contacted a client and has tried to set up a mobile business in the corner of a pub.
