Eyebrows - Dark Or Light? views please

Hey,
This is another question haha
i'm wanting a lighter shade for my eye brows
they're dark brown at the moment
but i went them about average (so i can have about any hair colour without being like .."damnn those eye brows stand out" lol.

so yeah i googled it to see if i could find anything at all that wasnt so harsh & i came across this:

" Apply a salon-quality facial bleaching cream to your eyebrows for about a minute. Unless you're looking to lighten your eyebrows dramatically all the way to blonde, you'll want to keep a close eye on the color when using this cream. Just one minute will turn raven black eyebrows to chestnut brown. "

Does anyone know if this is a safe method & does it work?
& i'm just wondering what colour do you think it'd go from a dark brown=]

I have no idea. But if I were going to try it as an experiment. I would apply it and then wipe it straight off. Don't leave it a minute.

Hi there - you have the danger of making them orange if there is not enough lift so be careful. (I have been a hairdresser as well) and when lifting dark hair to light you have to have to knock out the red tones. I would pluck a couple of dark hairs from your eyebrows and test. Recfectocil also do a lightning colour for lashes and brows but I have not tried it yet. If it does not work have some brown tint ready to rectify any mistakes.:Grope:

You can lighten them this way but don't be tempted to leave it on longer. Then apply a brown tint but again, leave for a minute and wipe off xx

I used the Jolen facial bleach a few years ago to lighten my eyebrows and I made a complete pigs ear of it......they went orange !

Never again !

i might just get it done professionaly
less chance of a screw up
& if it does i can blame it on them lmao XD

i may just leave it on for 30 seconds rather than a whole minute

You are unlikely to get a suitable amount of lift in 30 secs. Pluck a few hairs and test them - please buy a bleach suitable for this area such as Refectocil .:zzz:
