Hi,

Received my free faux glo from fake bake today expecting marvellous things as it had apparently been raved about.

I love instant tan! I thought this would end the laborious rubbing! So I ripped my parcel open today and sprayed! I sprayed it on my arms, my 1 year old, my b/f and its AWFUL!

Its like powdery, matt and very light. Now I hate looking dark, I have olive skin so I do tan well, so I am natural all the way but this is so pale.

Its nothing more than a rebranded air stocking you can pick up in home bargains for a few quid.

Because I have eczema products like this really help me hide the marks but I won't be using it again!

So thankyou Fake Bake for my freebie, but its soooo not what I expected. I used to rave about fake bake 6 years ago but now I think they have had there day! With the money they make now off sales they should be making market leading products, shouldnt they?

Its the fact this was a spray that interested me, thought the good old fake bake I used to love and know may have been back ~ nope! just another disappointing product.

Me too.
My daughter & I are (or WERE) huge Fake Bake fans. So earlier this year I ordered Faux Glo - I was dissapointed, big time.
It made us a muddy beige colour and looked more like foundation than tan.
I haven't tried it again and it now lies (along with a few other items I can live without !) at the bottom of a cupboard.
At the Fake Bake stand at Scottish Beauty, I told them how dissapointed we were. I was told that it was being 'modified' and will be relaunched soon.
I won't be waiting with baited beath to try the 'modified version'.
And so ..................after almost 4 years of singing Fake Bake's praises, I'm going back to Tantrick. (More choice of colours, not so much guide colour transfer onto clothes and the tan lasts longer - Yyaah !)
