Fake Bake

Hi guys
Has anyone had problems with fakebake getting back to you.
I had my first bott of sol from aston and fincher which was very happy with
But fakebake then took it out of wholesalers and ive had probs ever since.
I called my area lady 3 times and left mess she never got back to me so went to beauty uk and asked them why iam not getting called back and just happened to be my area girl she said oh you didnt leave your number
when i did 3 times .
set up an account there and then and never got as much as a letter with my account details on after the show.
so tried to call her again 2 wks went by still never got called back so emailed head office only to be told she had left and someone else had taken over .
Now i dont know if this is just me but if i had taken over a patch i would of called my list of clients asap iam i wrong!!!!!!!!!!
so them clients would be kept in the picture.
by this time iam running really low on tan so get on the the phone to head office AGAIN only for them to tell me to email i want to shop email address and they will get back to me asap and that was wed its now sat and still no email so i can shop online.
So thinking before i start promo for july i might change but most clients have had me for the fact i use fakebake so iam not sure what to do
any idea's what i should do????????:irked::irked:

I keep telling people their customer service is absolute s***
I have to use it at work unfortunately and we waited so long for solution that customers went elsewhere.
My friend ordered a kit from them and ended up with a second hand machine. Still hasn't got her new one as nobody rings her back. It's diabolicle !

On the whole I'm reasonably happy with their service. It could be better, but because I know it's not perfect, my expectations are not that high anymore. I'm very lucky to have Michaela as my area rep; every time I need info or a problem sorted I phone her and it's dealt with.
Given we know what they're like I think it's only sensible to publicise any promos when you actually have the product on your shelves.
I don't expect their service to improve any time soon; they're going to be at the mercy of the US operation and we are such small fry compared to them.

I have had more trouble with fake bake orders than any other company i've ever dealt with. Have completely given up chasing them and think i'm gonna end up writing off the money i paid for goods which will never arrive.

Well seeing as they are number 1 its def the product that got them to number 1 as i know of 4 people just in my area that have had these problems .
i think they should start looking at the customers they have and sort out there service as it stinks
if we treated our clients this way we would be broke

im just about to place an order with fake bake for both there spray and lotion tanning systems. i hope i have more look than some of you as its a great tan!

I havent tried the tan so cant comment, but there are plenty of great products out there that also have great customer service! I would think long and hard before I went with a company that everyone else seems to be having all these problems with, what makes you think it will be any different for you? Why not have a look around and get the complete package with someone else?

I currently use Fake Bake but i have never ordered direct from Fake Bake as when i first stocked it there was a minimum order. I have always got mine from Sunquest and never had any problems.
I personally don't like the colour and am gradually phasing it out.
It is such a big name that i stocked it as people had requested it.
I have people calling me asking if i have St.Tropez too. I think as people have heard of Fake Bake and St.Tropez they ask for it, not because they like it but because they have heard of it!
A lot of my clients who ask for St.Tropez haven't even tried it they just know the name.
I'm not a fan of St.Tropez either and have never used it as it was bottom of my list of all the solutions i sampled.
So, just because you have heard of something and think it has a big name, i would suggest you try lots of samples first as there are lots of great solutions out there.

in the salons ive worked in ive always had great results with lotion st tropez. the clients recognised the brand and loved the colour and i found it so easy to apply and it sold itself. when i decided to go it on my own using spay tanning systems i tried loads of different companies and decided fake bake was my best option. its a recognised brand so i think the retail will sell well, both the tanning lotion and spray give great long lasting results. ive had no problems so far and ive never heard of fake bake being any worse than any other company.
there is so much choice you have to think about what your comfortable with using and spending on a product. good luck xxx

I have used Fake Bake for the last 4 years and i have never had any problems at all. I always get hold of someone at ehad office and find they have the time to answer any questions etc i may have. Never had a problem with purchasing either. I order my products online directly from fakebake. If you have an account with them its very easy and delivery is quick too. Go to www.fakebake.co.uk click on trade shop. If you have an account but have not got login details email them and they will get back to you within 24 hours with your login which is usually your account number and also your password which you need every time you login.

I am changing to LA tan. I always offer 2 different tans=-one a natural looking solution and one a more brown solution.
Like i said, people request Fake Bake as they know the name when some people have never tried it. I don't like Fake Bake personally, i think it makes people look dirty and most people who have requested Fake Bake now use my other solution Nouvatan anyway.
I have only just got La Tan in so will just see how it goes
