Welcome to the site.

Do you intend to post a question or just make a statement?

Hahaha! I know!!......you would think after all these years and all the knowledge out there that people would realise it is the pink that makes your nails look longer!!!! I think the client is obviously not getting the right advice if they think they can go longer between appointments. Frustrating!!! Glad my clients know better:)

I'm sick of people commenting on pics of them saying the look good. LOL

Two thirds pink, one third white ( or less) is the rule. Anything else is just UGLY.

The square shape of some of these 'aforementioned' nails, always reminds me of the little plastic spoons you get to eat a small tub of ice cream at the cinema...:p

I'm fed up of seeing duck billed shaped extensions covered in glitter, plastic bows, Chanel symbols etc (yes all on one hand) ... less is definitely more :)

Hahaha this is the perfect description! x

Maybe it has something to do with people who have small natural nails insisting they want white tips. What you are then left with is nail techs who will use a natural tip and a fair bit of pink l and p to create the illusion of length before it comes to even thinking about the white, nail techs who advise the client that the pink and white look might not be for them at this time and nail techs who just do what the client tells them and sticks a white tip too far onto the nail.

I actually think that 60 pink 40 white doesn't look tooo bad if the nails are short and square. I think it looks kind of cute but maybe even that is pushing it a bit.

Shovels. Think it was Trinny who called them that.
If they're stubby they look amateur and a bit childish to me.

Horrible but surprising how many people like them and in different colours.I like false nails to look natural lots of people like them to look false and paid for I don't understand why.

I will tell you exactly what the problem is.
Its clients with short bitten stubby nails wanting long beautiful nails (and of course she is well within her rights to want this..)

AND

the nail technician not having a clue how to handle this type of client/nail bed.A lot of courses/colleges do not cover a extremely short bitten nail.

The secret is all in OPAQUE COVER PINK POWDERS and bob's your uncle (actually Bob IS my uncle). Create the nail bed of your dreams and position your white exactly where you want it for the perfect balance and proportion.

In my opinion white tips are for when you are in a rush and ALREADY have a client with normal/perfect nail beds. They aren't suited to everyone especially NOT nail biters. They are more commonly used by those that have not/will not/can not take the time to perfect their smile lines.

Opaque baby....its so simple:Love:

Full glitter acrylics over white tips!! Stop being a tight a*!e and buy see through clear tips! Just sayin... Haha xx

Completely agree with everything that's been said - and add this: what's with the hot pink 'nail bed', white duck feet tip with the tacky bow....? I see these types of nails on Pinterest and think WTF?

its SO easy when you know how and SO BEAUTIFUL..

It's ugly as fudge. But... sometimes, if that's what a client wants, then that's what they want. I'll try to talk a client out of it only once. If they don't agree then I give them what they want. Time is money.
