Hi

Im buying a few things off a nail website, and need some forms.
I have only tried Creative forms so far, and have heard that horseshoe ones are horrible.
The ones on the site I will be buying from is either horseshoe or rectangular ones, but the horseshoe ones are cheaper so if they are ok id rather get those.
Can someone who has tried these please let me know if they are easy enough to work with and which ones would be best for me to get?

Thanks

Don't do it. Stick to the performance ones, or another brand in that kind of shape, they are so much better to work with.

yep, rectangles...

The horse shoe ones may be cheaper hun, But trust me, Not in the long run..Because they are rubbish lol.
So you will end up buying more anyway !

I find with forms, the cheaper ones really are no good for sculpting...
I made that mistake in the begining thinking "well I am only going to throw them away, so I am not wasting my money"

But I had so many problems with sculpting, I thought it was down to my application, It wasn't it was the forms..
They don't stay stuck..they tend to be thinner, so dip when you are patting your product down on the free edge, leaving the client with an annoying ridge, (which can then lead to free edges breaking)

Really you are better off just paying out for decent ones hun,
My personal faves are CND performance forms, and EZFLOW universal forms..
I also LOVE my reusable Acra C forms.

Hope this helps hun x

Blah, hate the horseshoe-forms! They never want to stay the way I'd like them to, so I don't use them. Love the rectangular ones :green: I use the Tammy Taylor Competitive Edge forms, they're great!

Horseshoe forms are an invention of the devil

I don;t even like the rectangular one's as they have no tabs.
You get much better results using forms that you can tailor and fit and have tabs to keep the shape once applied. why make your work more difficult with Horsehoes?? I would stick with the Performance forms or similar if I were you.

Time is money after all...and you will waste more time fitting horseshoe forms.

I often wondered about the horseshoe ones but no more - thanks geeks x

at my latest training I tried the entity rectangle forms, they adapt to every kind of nails and they're great, and they have lines to guide you with your product in the beginning.

otherwise I use my Opi Free Forms, which also have the center in 2 different C so you can use them on a lot of different nails.

depending on what you do, if it's a simple P&W, I put some strong aluminum foil under, cut it to adapt to the shape of the form/nail, give it the C curve with a stick, and then it stays the right way and I don't need to pinch it afterwards. PLUS the form can be used several times.

if I work on a huge piece of nail art, I double the forms so that I know it keeps the shape I placed it on.

Don't try the horseshoe forms!! They have no tabs and they leave disgusting shaped nails.
