Not sure if I am allowed to even post this, so sorry if I have broken yet another rule! But thought that fellow geeks may be interested in this.
I just found out that anyone under 26 gets free theatre tickets! Dosn't help me much cause tomorrow i'm 30 ! But I just booked front row seats at my local theatre for their Xmas production of Oliver Twist. Because my b/f is 25 and my kids are 6, 8 and 1 I only paid for my ticket which cost fifteen quid! Not bad for a family of 5!
I go theatre all the time especially at xmas for the kids, but last year it was costing something like £100 for us to go to a show. This offer really helps out.
Its a nationwide government backed scheme and they have limited ticket numbers per show but thought some of you may be interested in this.
I only found this cause I am looking for things to do with the bratz over the summer as their dads only wanting them a week out of the six. Like I don't have to work.....
I found as well the 2-4-1 wednesday cinema ticket offer too and orange are giving away free sims with £5 of credit on. Just swap sims on Tuesday, send your text wednesday and you get free cinema tickets too.
So thats every wednesday sorted, me and b/f can go see one film whilst the kids watch what they want to.
Was thinking of getting season tickets to deep sea world which is £100 but lasts a year and is for all of us, so that pays for itself in less than 2 visits and knowsly has a similar scheme.
Anyone else have any other cheap or free school holiday ideas???
