Cute girl with a nice way about her.

I think some might find the beveled brush quite useful for this job .. love seeing new ideas, don't you?

I always say, "whatever it takes." If it works for you and it is SAFE then have a try and see.

Thank you for sharing :)
shes good , can tell shes done it before lol ,

Yes, I love new ideas!

I'm heading out in a bit to try and find a brush like hers, then practice, practice and more practice. :)

Thank you very much for sharing that video with us Deanosnana, think I must try and find myself a brush like that, she really does make it look easy with a bit of practice of course!

i saw it and thought it was a good idea .. am gonna try it :D

I like the idea of the angled brush I shall try and see what mine look like lol thanks for sharing that with us x

I just got back from the craft store with my new brush. I couldn't wait to try this technique. Although, not perfect, I did a much better job on myself. Will post a pic in the Shellac lover's group.

Instead of the pot from Sally's, I used an empty Art Deco eyeshadow primer pot. It's the perfect size and has a screw on lid.

Can't wait for my next french 'victim'! :)

Looks great. Will have to get one of these brushes.

UPDATE:

I had my first french 'victim' the other day. This brush is amazing. Because of the angle of the brush, I had WAY less product on the skin. Also, on the two smile lines I had to 'fix', I used the corner edge of a dry orangewood stick, instead of a brush. It worked amazing at correcting the smile line. VERY crisp.

HTH! Have a great day, everyone!

Really stupid question - could you use a brush narrow enough and just dip it into the shellac bottle? Not keen on decanting shellac out of it's origianal bottle. Sorry if that sounds thick.

I imagine you could. I agree, I wasn't keen on decanting the Shellac but I used an empty Art Deco eyeshadow primer pot and just put a bit of Shellac Cream Puff in it.

If you had a narrow brush that fits into the Shellac bottle, I would do that.

Let us know how it works! :)

Ok - off on the hunt for a narrow brush - will update!

Usually these things are much harder than they look but this wasn't so thank you for sharing this. I bet it will work with Shellac will try that too,:D

I might be slighty off-topic but has anyone tried this:

Hi Linda, the brand I have is Princeton Preferred synthetic angled shader. It's 1/4" wide. I got mine at a craft store that carries art supplies. I hope you can find one like it. :)

Me too,,,I am currently using a mac make up brush :eek:, just find the bristles are too thick in any french polish bottle wheather it is from brisa, shellac, or ordinary enamel x

I bought a Ruby & Millie (i think its called) synthetic angled make-up brush from boots last week. It cost £6 odd, but i haven't got round to trying it out yet. Will let you know when i do.

Does anyone know if the shellac white stays fresh in one of these ceramic pots?
