Gel Toes

When doing hollywood toes, would you apply L&P/gel to small toes or just large toe, here is how I am doing it step by step and it looks lovely, although I have a paying customer on monday and would like to make sure.

I perform mini pedicure, by filing nails, remove cuticle and non living tissue, rinse with citrus soak, scrub fresh, prepare nail bed by using 180, grit (only been doing this with big toe as only been applying L&P to this toe).

I then apply white perfomance tip(big toe), and clip right down and file, then apply bead of intense pink (should I not use this) in zone 3 and work up and over zone one, then I apply, brisa white gloss paint to little toes, cure, then apply my varnish onto my little toes (pink french) then apply layer off brisa topcoat gel to all little toes and cure, wipe with scrub fresh and apply solar oil. I then file my big toes with 180 side off my hot shot scrub fresh, then apply brisa finishing gloss and cure, then wipe with scrub fresh, solar oil.

What should I be applying to my little toes, or am I doing it ok? and also when I am applying my finishing gloss and curing, it looks fab, only when I wipe with scrub fresh it seems to spoil the look then iygwim,, am I doing this correctly, should I just use pink instead off intense pink?? also if I wanted to set stones do I do this when doing finishing gloss??

You would not etch the big toenail with a 180 file if you are doing Creative PREP. You only need to exfoliate the surface using no less than a 240 buffer (not a file). BTW it is the nail plate not the nail bed that you are preparing I hope! :lol:

You make no mention of using the Brisa Bond before the application of your gel to the natural nails ... you of course have to do this.

You cannot successfully put Brisa Finishing gloss over Varnish!

It sounds odd to me some of the things you are doing. Have yo done a class with Brisa gels? It doesn't sound as if you have had any CND training.

Hi there, I trained with Katie Ellison in st helens. I only I only use my koala buffer 240 side (sorry got confused ) to prepare nail PLATE. After buffing big to I scrub fresh and then apply brisa finishing gloss.

My question was on my little toes should I just apply white paint gloss to toes, and then just clear gloss....what can I use to give them a french colour...as my big toe has pink acrylic on it ,,,iygwim.... Thanks

I am going on the brisa gel conversion in october as Katie is off on maternity untill then. xx

This is fine but make sure when you finsh the big toe that you only buff with a 180 before applying the Finishng gloss.

You can use the Brisa pink builder gel in a thin layer and then finishing gloss to get the look you want but make sure you apply Brisa Bond before you apply any gel to the smaller toes.
