Gel White turning blue?!

I've never had this before but recently a client had gel overlay on her natural nails in a French, she then went on holiday and 3 days in the White turned blue and all cracked...? Could this be chlorine? Please help x

There are so many different types of gel now that it would help if you were more specific.

Was she wearing a thin coloured gel, a soak off, buff off and what brand.

Chlorine plus the heat of the sun can very definitely affect soak off gels particularly of the thin varieties and particularly in the lighter colours more than the darker more pigmented shades.
