Mine spruced up today. Done to match new dichroic glass jewellery. Used cuccio soak off gel , micas and glitters. Pic doesn't show true glitteryness 😄

If I'm doing just acrylics I create a glitter mix with glitter of different sizes and clear powder.
On gelish I apply 1 or 2 coats of colour coat closest to the colour of the glitter, depending how good a coverage the colour coat is, I cure then apply glitter with a soft brush, press down into the tacky layer and remove excess and top coat, sometimes it needs double top coat. For a more bling effect I add chunky glitter first then fine glitter to fill the gaps x
