hi guys been doing few glitter tips i apply glitter first then l&p on top the thing is when they want changing eg different colour i have so much filing to do i was wondering can i apply my l&p then put glitter on top thinnly then apply finish it gel over top then when they change then i can just file top layer of i do nail art under my finish it gel and that stays put what do you think xx

I think when it comes to this type of thing there is no right or wrong way, people do it the way that works best for them.

Give it a go and see for yourself, if you haven't got a nail trainer stick a tip on an orange stick or similar and overlay as you explain and then file it like you were doing it for real and you'll see if it works.

Experimenting is the best part if this job!!:lol:
 
When I've used popits I've actually applied glue to the tip, dipped the tip in glitter, applied tip to customers nails and then gone on to the popit application.
When I've done a traditional service I've put a thin layer of clear acrylic on first that way when I file down for the rebalance I find it very easy, just file of the colour. It also means that the glitter layer is nice and thin.
But I like your idea do let us know how it works out:):hug:
