Hello,

Im a trained nail technician but really wanting to do a spray tan course have wanted to do so for ages now. Ive been looking on the net for different companies to buy all equiptment i need an have come across a brand called Naturasun, does anybody know this company and whats your opinion on this product? they are offering the whole package to get me started after i have done my course for what i think is a good price

thanks kim

I have had a tan done using Naturasun and it was very nice. Don't use it myself though. You could always PM Cabinkel, she swears by it :green:

Looking for the cheapest package is not the best way of making your choice hun,
you need to get samples from all the ones that you are interested in and see what you think of the colours, how they fade, how long they last and what was the customer service like,
you need to be happy with all the above as it is these that will help you to promote your new service successfully,
if you want a sample from Tantrick give this number a call
0845 022 2233
and if you would like to look at their website here is the link hth

Hi Kim

I Use Naturasun in my salon and have been using it for the last few years and love the fact that you can mix the product to suit each client.

I most use Honey and D&E

Hope this helps:hug:

I have used naturasun for nearly 3 years and love it. I have sampled lots of other tanning products but have always stayed with naturasun. Would you be getting them to train you as well?

Hi

I use naturasun in my last salon for a few years and it is very nice stuff and its fab coz you can mix the colours which is really good! x

i like nautrasun too its a very natural looking tan and lasts i have used many but this 1 is the one its taken me time to find the best one and it has to be this one hope u find u like it let us know .

It certainly is NOT one of the cheaper brands! Dont know how much the kits are but the solution is more expensive than Sienna and Tantrick!

The one that I had was a lovely colour, lasted well, faded well etc so no issues there. Think it was regular that I was sprayed with? It was a while ago now....

Try a few samples and decide which one works for you

Naturasun is a fab solution with a wide choice of shades to choose from.

If you haven't already done so contact them and ask for a sample, they are usually very helpful

Hi, i chose naturasun coz the kit was great value. The solutions are fab, last ages and my customers come back time and time again, but the support is not there at all. It took a month for my kit to come after already paying for it it. It eventually came on the day my salon opened!!! And it took a further 2 months for them to send me a reciept of purchase. So for me i'm torn. As i said i can't fault the solutions its just my experience on these occasions. hth. x

Hi,
I used to use naturasun but what stopped me was the very bad customer service and lack of help when hvlp wouldnt work properlly, i upgraded my system twice with them and they cant even supply me with filters for my recent system as they dont stock them anymore! the tan solution is fine but i have swapped to millenium nails own brand solution and its fab, even though i still use the naturasun machine. Coco bay solution is also very good.x

Hi Kim, my advice would be DO NOT touch that stuff with a barge pole, i had a 'therapist' come to my house to tan me and my friends for my best friends wedding and we will never ever forget the result, looking back at the photos we still look like oompa loompas, OMG, my boyfriend told me i smelled like cats p, too, EEWWW, it was the worst thing ever,
good luck if im too late

ive also had a naturasun tan and was really unhappy with the result, the colour looked awful on me (im blonde and quite pale skinned) it was way too dark and also kind of orange:( i went back to the salon and asked for tan remover as i was so unhappy with it.

I currently use Solglo but am also starting to introduce Suntana and I really rate these products

I'll second suntana, check out their website, their solutions are excellent, they do a complete kit too & also offer an accredited training course. I highly recommend their solutions & you can PM Dave on here any time he is really helpful.

perhaps those of you that have had a bad experience are blaming the product unfairly - maybe the therapist was to blame for using a solution that was too dark for your skin tone?...

yes maybe, but when I have a bad experience with something then I usually steer clear afterwards.
I did tell the therapist what i was looking for but i didnt get it.

Maybe it would be best to use a brand without such a wide range as a beginner then so that this doesnt happen and as more experience is gained on which colours suit which skin tone then there will not be as much chance of error?

Hi i had my training with naturasun and it was beautiful, no orange at all. I have inherited 4 litres of solglo and hate it - to me its very orange. My friend who i did a spray on said he boyfriend slapped her cheeks and laughed while telling her she had been tangoed!!

I'm backing naturasun for the moment!! got some samples of sunlabs and xen tan fingers crossed they are nice!!

But everyone like different stuff!!

Hi the best thing to do is shop around for the best price on equiptment and then ask all companies for samples cause every ones taste is different.

I would agree with Sherrie, there are some great brands out there, but in the hands of someone unsure/untrained or who has not practised disaster can occur.

I have used Naturasun for about 4 1/2 years and I LOVE the solutions. The only bug bear for me is that they do not have much of a retail range, which I know would do well. For this reason, I am looking at other solutions at the mo as I would rather not have to get retail from one provider and solutions from another! Having said that, I havent had much luck yet finding something that comes close to the great naturasun solutions.
