Hi there

I have just started my mobile business and was intending to be mobile in my local and surrounding areas. However I have had some interest a bit further away.... I dont want to start refusing customers but also dont want to lose money. Would you add a charge for out of area or would you travel for a min amount of people ???

Help appreciated:)

Hi there, I cover a 10 mile radius and outside that I have a mileage charge per mile outwith this, I also have a minumum call out fee of £15. I am not in a big city so I need to maybe be slightly more flexible than some of the other geeks but the most I would probably travel would be 25 miles and even then it would need to be worth my while - ie a pamper day or several treatments, not just the minimum. Hope that helps.

Hi I always say I travel free a fifteen mile radius of where i live then add on a few pounds petrol.
But if they book lots of treatments or there is more than one person I quite often dont add it on as it's been worth while going.
If someone just wanted an eyebrow shape or something, I would say, im happy to come that far, but have a minimum spend of £20 if your outside my area.
It can depend on all sorts really.hth.xx:hug:

Thats really helpful...Thankyou x

I was thinking of having a minimum spend within a 10 mile radius. If it's over 10 miles then I'll up the minimum spend.
