How long did it take you to fall pregnant?

I got pregnant the one time I didn't use protection a few weeks before my wedding but unfortunately I miscarried and it took me 18 months to conceive again. Again I miscarried and really thought it would never happen for me I wasn't ovulating so after four months I went to a specialist who prescribed clomid, when I went back to check for ovulation the Dr said it hadn't worked and to try a higher dose. I actually conceived two days after the visit and I'm 20 weeks along now. I really think I stopped thinking about it, as I was told it would not happen that month. Sometimes I do believe its mind over matter.

Iv been trying for 10 months now. I know it's not long at all but still get upset when I get a negative test x

It's a horrible feeling getting that negative test! My first one I actually wanted it to be negative because I was scared but every one after that made me want it positive more and more!

I feel for all you ladies who have waited so long. We are only on our 3rd month and already I'm frustrated that it hasn't happened so I can only imagine for those of you who have been trying for much longer.

It's hard bit to worry already that something is wrong. I have to learn to have a word with myself and remember not to stress.

Dammit I just caved in and bought a test as I passed the chemist. I mean for gods sake we've done the deed twice since I stopped the pill but I think it's just the novelty of the first time ever actually having the potential to be pregnant! Of course it was negative and I will definitely be enjoying my bottle of rose tonight x

Just had my first midwife app! :)

I'm very fertile.
First time, 1 try. I was 28.
This time, 1try again. I'm 35, going to be 36 in a week, and I'm 37 weeks pregnant tomorrow.

I really admire people like you Hun, had lots of things thrown at you and still come out with positivity and smiling. So inspiring. I've been feeling so down the past week and you have put things in to perspective and I need to appreciate everything I have and not the things I don't. Lots of love you deserve lots of happiness xxx

Chellebell that was for btw 😋 x

Ahh thanks Beauty Queen, that's really sweet of you. I'm not always this positive but in a good place at the moment. There is always someone worse off that yourself xx

I fell pregnant on my second attempt, but I tracked the hell out of my cycle using two different apps.

People tell you not to think about it and relax but being the type of person I am, it was all I could think about. In my fertile window we just went for it as much as we could. I'm only 5 weeks so got a while until we're in the safe zone but I'm over the moon.

Congratulations chick☺️ this sounds a good method haha x

With my first pregnancy I conceived after 8 months and had a boy. (He's now 17) Because I was 31 at the time we immediately tried for a second and that took just over 5 years to fall pregnant! I have never miscarried, I just couldn't catch. I was classed as having secondary infertility.
After trying for 5 years and having the standard investigations which found nothing amiss, I started taking She Oak, a herbal supplement which is renowned for aiding fertility and helping you to relax about it all. I then to my delight had my daughter, now 11.
For those of you trying, I wish you all the love and luck, and give She Oak a try. I hope it helps xx

Hey everyone,

I'm sooooo confused and after a little advice, I'm due on next Monday however I feel so run down, banging headaches, achey back and tummy as if I've done aload of exercise (which I haven't this week) and strangely sorry for TMI but getting the clear stringy discharge as if I'm ovulating? But as I'm due on in the next few days I calculated my ovulation dates were earlier on and not now.. This trying to conceive malarkey is so complicated 😣 Has anyone ever experienced this when you's we're trying?

Thanks xx

I tracked periods, ovulation and intimacy on an app too nikki, it felt a bit controlling at the time but also it just felt better to be organised, plus on the times where it felt like forever since a period I could look and no for sure that I was due in a day or 1 day late etc, basically in sure it kept be from going crazy and getting my hopes up. Happy to say I am now 15 weeks gone and very excited.
Congratulations on your pregnancy and to those that are trying to conceive I wish you all the very best on your journey x
