Hi

I have been using flirties products for about 6 months and although i love working with the glue im finding that the lashes dont seem to be lasting very long. They look great when first applied and people are finding that they last well for about 2 weeks but between the 2nd week and then the third week for their top up they seem to lose loads and i end up doing nearly a full set for the price of a top up?

Im sure i have my technique right and i clean the lashes and prime first and use a sealant after. How long do you find your lashes last with the flirties glue?

I find it can depend on the hair growth cycle, try and apply the lashes to short/med length lashes as these are likely to last longer as they will be at the anagen (growing) stage, if you apply lashes to lashes that are near the falling out stage (telogen) then they don't have as long a life span, you may already to this so please forgive me if you do

It also depends on the homecare i.e how well the client looks after the lashes, as around the 2 - 3 weeks mark, I find clients can start to fiddle with them.

I also think if they use the sealant as home care they last better too.

Does this help at all?

Natalie xx

I agree with Natalie, it does sound that there is a hiccup either in the application somewhere or in the way the client treats her extensions.

Have you used the primer before the application of the extensions? Are you using the right curl extension that gives the best bond with the natural lash? Is the adhesive applied smoothly so that it gives the best possible bond? Are you applying the sealant afterwards and is the client applying the sealant daily?

Have you checked with the client what she does with the lashes, ie not have a hot shower or bath within the first 24 after the application, oil free make up remover and mascara etc?

there is a lot of reasons why the extensions are falling out prematurely but it you want to give me a call i am sure we can find out what the problem is?

yeah done all of the above apart from get the client to apply sealant daily but i do apply it after ive applied them.

I give them all an aftercare sheet too and go over everything with them . I seem to get this with every person that when it comes to top up time there isnt too many left xx

Hi

My lash ladies generally return after 2-3 weeks with approx 2/3 of their lashes still on. Some go longer (4 weeks). Most of them will have 1 hour infills which are enough to make them full again.

Are you giving your glue a shake up before using it?

The worst ones for losing their lashes are the younger ones who pile make up on (including mascara) - they tend to wear a lot of glitter based eyeshadows and eyeliners and I believe this doesn't help as it takes a lot of removing.

Hi Allie,

if you want you can give me a call on Monday and we can go through the application and "troubleshooting" as it is unusual for so many lashes to fall out and I am sure we can find the "troublemaker" either in the application or the client aftercare

i will do that thanks. Do i just call the main WOW number and ask for Britta?xx
