I have a similar lamp. .......my father put an 'in-line' switch into the cable for me!
Works a treat, no more plugging in and out!

Ladies - before I order one of these lamps - can you tell me if you have to hold the lamp over the clients nails or is it free standing? Does that make sense?!
I sit mine on the desk and they just lay their hands flat on the desk

Yes that's the one. I don't have it over the nails as such, just pointing towards as it does kick off some heat! If I remember I'll take a pic tomorrow xxx

Can I ask when using IBX with shellac do you apply the IBX first and then do cuticles with cuticle away or do you cuticle away first and then IBX and then shellac application? Sorry bit confused with all the threads!
Now that's a good idea. Works a treat sat on my CND lamp - gives it just enough height.
TracyAnn - which Lidl did you get yours in? I'm pretty close to you but I'm having trouble tracking one down and they won't let you call the stores to check stock! Thanks Vikki xx
