Hi Nail geeks,

I wonder if I could pick your brains.

I am a newly qualified mobile nail technician and really need to sort my insurance out.

Can anyone please reccommend the best one? I have looked at the BeautyGuild which is £85.00 annually, but if I could get a good one cheaper I'd be abit happier.

Many thanks,

Pinotage32.

Have a look at Salon Gold, its around £45 for full beauty and I think just a nail tech insurance is £35.

IMO the GUILD is by far the best ... it covers for so many more eventualities than others, which you need when mobile. It is still very little money compared to someone stealing your products from your car or them getting ruined in an accident of some sort ... or spoiling a piece of furniture in a client's home etc.

ABT are NOT the Guild's sister company. We are NOT associated with them in any way.

Oh right, well this is what they told me only the week before last.I called them thinking that they were you because the way the advert was displayed it looked like one double paged spread by the Guild.I was taken aback when the lady said that it was ABT and not the Guild and she said that you were sister companies and not to worry.

I am going to call them now as I am disgusted that I was blatantly lied to.Sorry for my post above,I spoke as I was told.I had a witness to the whole conversation as well so will be very interested as to what ABT have to say regarding this lie.

I've not seen the ad in question, but it could be that the Guild News are associated with ABT. The Guild News is also nothing to do with the Guild Of Beauty Therapists.
