Hi, I am currently doing the Essential Nails gel course and I'm trying to find out about insurance for once I've qualified. Can anyone give me some idea of approx cost and recommend a good company?

Thanks,
Kirsty.

Hi...

There have been quite a few thread on here lately about insurance. There are lots of places and options available and from what I found, the prices can vary dramatically depending on what cover you are looking for.

Some examples:

The Guild
BABTAC
ABT

... to name a few. Why not try the search facility on here, I'm sure you'll come up with lots of places to get quotes from. :)

Thanks everyone. I have looked at the professional beauty website and the guild website and now I'm confused! Am I right in thinking that professional beauty only offer treatment cover and the guild offer treatment, product and public liability cover??

This is the same confusion that I suffered with... so I went with BABTAC who offer all three, insure you for previous claims (prior to taking the policy), no excess either. A littlle bit more expensive than some and a lot cheaper than others. :)

The Guild offer £2 million of Public, Product and Treatment Liability cover for all treatments that you are qualified in. If you need any more details, feel free to give us a call.
