Itec Waxing Training/course

Hi I am looking to do waxing alongside nails.But I want to gain an ITEC in waxing,I have searched high an low and cant find anywhere that does it!I have contacted my local college and they dont do it either.I am willing to travel and looking to do a short course ideally as I am studying hard with nails.Can anyone advise me if they know of anyone or anywhere that does this please?I woudl very much appreciate it.

You may not have any luck then.our local college used to do a lot of itec courses but it is now all vtct.Shame because i do think itec are better.

Hiya Hun, We offer ITEC Beauty Specialist courses. Some of the syllabus can be split but I will have to check that with regards to the waxing section. I don't think that section can be split if I am honest with you, ITEC are very strict. We are based in Wolverhampton by the way. I do have a contact number for a college where the lady will come out and train you for a day on one subject - Costs approx £200.00 for the day and you will be qualified - Again its wolverhampton

Hi, I have just done the VTCT waxing course in Waterlooville (near Portsmouth) and it was fab. The company is called AbFab Training Acadamy and they do short courses, and a maximum of 4 people. I was lucky and was on my own so got 1 to 1 tuition! HTH. Lainy. x :green:

What appealed to me is the fact it is an internationally recognised qualification.I do not think there are many that are?:lol:

Not many is it.Im surprised its not recognised in all eu countries.

I'm not sure about anywhere else in the world but i know my NVQ is recognised in Australia that was the only reason i did it. I was originally going to do an Itec course as was told a few times that it was internationally recognised but when i did some more research found that the NVQ is to. HTH
