Hi all,

Ive had a call from a lady today offering a free conversion course for gel and acrylic nails.

I was just wondering if anyone used Kinetics or had any experience with it at all??

Apparently its new to the uk prev launched i the us in 2002.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I haven't have any experience of their products but Margarita Belska endorses their products and I don't think she'd do that without a lot of thought and research. She is one of the most amazing technicians.

Iryna is an instructor for Kinetics, although we are now brand independent and she uses many different products. The Kinetics products are good for salon work and a competitive price.

Apart from the material, it's also worth to find out what education is available if you decide to develop. Margarite and Iryna for that matter, are both highly skilled nail artists and offer advanced training in gel design, hand painting, 3d acrylic and fantasy. Not many companies offer this range.

Olga Erokhina is a Russian educator for Kinetics and is one of the best fantasy artists whose work I've had the pleasure to see. She won two first in Nailympics in 2006 I believ (or 2005). Unfortunately, she doesn't speak English though.

Thank you both for your advice.

I will look into it in more depth ... it seemed too good to be true lol:lol:

I don't think it's a case of being too good to be true at all. The majority of the brands run promotions from time to time offering free conversions into their products. Put simply it's a marketing tool aimed at gaining you as a long term client.

Most distributors will also agree that even for the paid classes, there isn't a great deal (if any) money to be made once the educators fee/overheads/logistics are paid - so offering it for free is just like the loss leader products at a supermarket......

Cheers

Derek

Kinetics had a stand at Excel this year. I believe it was Olga Erokhina who put a demo nail on my nail. Her English is minimal but we got by. Her work was breath taking and I am seriously considering training with her in Gel design later this year.

The demo nail was sculptured gel, not too long with strawberries and flowers on.

The gel looked great to work with and it did not lift and would NOT come off!!!!!! because it was on my right hand I found it hard to file off using my left. I had to remove it as I am about to be a model for another tech.
I ended up biting it off (dont tell me off lol) I had a hard job to do that too. :irked:

I was very impressed with the gel !!

I also met Magerita Belska at Excel she was a very lovely lady.

Ï used kinetics aswell but think that their acrylic is very fast setting, a bit to fast for me after being used to working with cnd retention and moxie + ezflow. i do think that it is terrific for 3D work. Their gel is really good i have to say, so i would really recommend it.

Thank you all so much for your advice.

Ihave the acrylics and gel course in April and also booked on for nail art for May. Really excited now. Thanks xxxx:)

Kinetics is one of the easiest product to work with! L&P System just a dream. The clarity of powders is amazing! You'll be very pleased with white powder as it the whitest white:) Very easy to file (you would think it is gel) so your infill timing reduces.
Camouflage products (as powder so gel) have beautiful colour!
Huge range of coloured products(gel/powder) won't leave your imagination without ideas:)
Margarita is official distributor of Kinetics in UK and outstanding technician!
If you phone her she is always happy to help! Margarita Belska Nail World
you can find more information about product here

How do you get in touch with them about their conversion courses, and are they still free at the moment??

They contacted me but their number is 0800 917 3508. I spoke to a lady called Catherine who booked me on courses for gel acrylic and nail art.

Her name is Olga Semjonova - and her English is much better now. Her work is amazing and so is Margaritas work... just see her pics on her website Margarita Belska

Funnily enough I was in Wood Green today and I walked past Catherines academy so I popped in and got some info...so know I'm thinking I may do some 3D encapsulation classes!

I love kinetics! and I have to say Catherine is a really good teacher...I have done lots of training with her in the last few months. The whole team is really nice there and the best bit is that she lets you come in as much as you like and or need to have free practice sessions where she makes sure your on the right track and even calls you up to see how your getting on too! cant rave about it enough!
