L & P Creative Course - Milton Keynes

Can anyone help me...ive just heard that the milton keynes courses arent running anymore? I have been organising my life lol for weeks so i can book a course here in the next few days but have just found out they arent running anymore...i feel like crying :cry: tried to call sweet squared but they are closed :cry:

Thats the first I've heard of it and I was careful to look when sweet squared listed their shops and Anne Swains at Asply gues was on the list.
Where did you hear this?
Have you spoken to Anne?

no i havent spoken to anne...the jobcentre have told me this today..apparantly they have been in touch with sweet squared and been informed the milton keynes courses arent running and i would have to go to harrow instead!

Just sent you a pm hun to make sure you saw it before the ladies at mk go home tonight. Have spoken to them and yes they are running courses.

Update, Anna has just spoken to them and they are running courses but not for Creative any more.
I'm in shock

I must say the training they are still doing (with a different company now) will no doubt be fantastic as usual, as anybody who knows the quality of the teaching in Milton Keynes will vouch for the fact that both Anne, Kelly and all the team there are truly dedicated and really know their stuff and go above and beyond for all their students (I can't tell you how much Anne has gone out of her way for me over the years!) I believe in credit where credits due and wish her and the team success in their new venture!!

I don't believe this!!! Does this mean I won't be able to do my Creative Master Class there? I rang Sweet Squared a little while back and was told the next Pre-Masters is on 29th June..........what is happening??

ok ill answer as best i can but i might not be totally accurate so obviously youll need to check the info for defo..but from what i can gather...there has been some discussions with the contracts or something and i believe that creative are not continuing with their contract at milton keynes...it is being taken over by Entity....so altho you can still do training there...it is with entity..not creative...i THINK i was told that you can still train with the creative products but training is provided by entity not creative...so you may or may not still be able to buy creative products from there...im not too sure...
so basically if you want training with creative i was told the next nearest place to MK is Harrow (west london), I was enquiring about a foundation course but i would think this applies to every course..so i doubt you can do your masters there. I definately cant go to MK for training...instead im having to go to leeds.

Like i said this info may not be wholly accurate but is how i understood it.

For information about Creative in the UK, call Sweet Squared, get it from the horse's mouth do not spend ages on here surmising what might or might not be the case LOL.

not heard that phrase! lol I agree with getting things from the horses mouth BUT it seems that up until yesterday at least....this information wasnt being given out...i do know that some members of creative didnt know this themselves, and entity at milton keynes were shocked to find this out as they hadnt been told (obviously they knew it was in the pipeline however)

It is possible that from a legal point of view the information could not have been given out.

I know it is harsh but we dont always get to know things when WE think we should.
