L&P Stuck in Diamond Ring

I have a little bit of dried L&P in my engagement ring....

Will monomer harm the diamonds....its 18ct...

I know that nothing will harm the diamonds and I'm pretty sure that the gold will be OK too

To soak or not to soak??? lol

I soak my jewelry-not pearls of course!!!-in pure acetone for 15 minutes and all the specks and gunk come off! No damage yet in 25 years of doing this--just check that the stones will be ok--my diamonds are fine-not sure about turquiose,no pearls and no opals,anything that is porous should be in acetone.But hard stones wil be ok.
