Largest Dual system nail form (PopIts) don't fit my mum's thumbnail.

Hi everyone

Just a quick question. I was trying out popits on my Mother in law last night and found that her thumb nails were too wide for the largest form. The other 4 nails on her hand looked really nice, but I just couldn't make that form fit her thumb nail and ended up with a ridge on the sidewalls. Any ideas?

Hi Sarah,

I'm Pretty sure some companies do larger sizes, but please dont quote me on this, although i'm pretty sure i did read it some where.

The popits i use the largest size i have in those is an S2 which is big enough to use on my dad's thumb nail and he has rather large nail beds.

Try contacting the company who's popits you use and see if they do any custom size one's/

Thanks. I will try and contact them. I am using dual system nail forms. I have no idea who make them though. I think I will wait until I have qualified with CND then get them from sweet squared. I have qualified, just not with CND. Not yet anyway. fingers crossed I will pass in a few weeks though. It will be a huge weight lifted off my shoulders I tell you. lol at least then I won't have to question my capabilities or qualifications as a nail tech.

Yeah I am sure Gigi said somewhere that Popits are dual system forms. She just changed the name? I ordered mine before I paid for my creative course from a website called radiant babe. If I wanted to contact the company who make popits, how do I go about it?

I've no idea if the forms you are using are PopIts or even DSF. There are plenty of folks doing the usual and trying to get on a band wagon.

Your mum must have VERY large thumb nails if the largest PopIt won't fit her which makes me doubt if what you have really are PopIts or genuine DSF.

i have popits .[made by dual system nail forms and distributed by sweet squared]
and i have the new modified version of dual system nail forms which are available from them direct.

they have added an extra large size which is larger than the largest popit.
and a smaller one too.

theyre supposed to allow you to do toes more easily, so you can imagine the largest is pretty big.

are the ones you have the genuine spanish ones or a copy by some other company ?

I am not entirely sure to be honest. I bought them from a web site. A genuine fake I guess lol. I think I will take a photo of the form on her nail so you can see my problem. Would that help?

Can't wait to be able to purchase the ones from sweet squared.
