I would like to make a brochure about my treatments and prices. Do you have any experience with this? I would like to setup the brochure myself but not sure which program to use fore this. Do you now of any good printing places onine?

did you try vista print, i know they can be a little pricie but it might give you a few ideas on what type of layout you would like, or what to put into it. hope it helps.http://vistaprint,co.uk

I used microsoft "Publisher". It was really easy with lots of good templates to choose from.
I normally use Vista for all my printing needs but like to do my own brochures so I can alter services, specials with out the expense.

thank you. I´ll try to get a hold of Publisher. Vistaprint looks good I´ll give them a go.

Hi, If you are looking for a company to print off lots, I just had 3000 DL leaflets printed, full colour both sides and glossy and it cost £53 ish inc vat and delivery, you do have to design it your self and send the file to them, I used publisher and converted it to a pdf. They might have a design feature on their website that you can use. the company is saxoprint.co.uk - Flyer, posters, brochures, business-cards, letterheads and many things more- simple good value printing!: the more you order the cheaper it gets, if that makes sence, hth. It depends on how creative you are, you need to have a basic idea and be good with wording no matter which one you go for. I suggest getting a few brochures that you like be it salons, restaurants, jewellers etc. and taking the style and incorporating it into your price list.

Publisher is good to help with layout once you have yuor text, vista can show you specific images for our industry. If you have an idea yourself and want a logo it could be good to get someone to do it for you.

Hey hun I got our Carl who is known to all us geeks and I contacted him to do my brochure and logo and his work is fantastic!!.

I used Publisher & print them myself. You can download a free 2 month trial of Publisher from the Microsoft website to see how you can get on with it - but have your text ready first to make the most of it!

Had a bit of nightmate with saxoprint. They made a right mess of my business cards then refused to do anything about when I complained.

Avoid at all costs!

did u not get them to send you a proof to check over before they printed them?

Sorry you had a bad experience, but as Kimi rightly says- if they give you the option for file checking (and I think they charge £5 for that) then you should certainly do that, and try and get a proof as well.

Printing is a mechanical and sometimes complicated process- so make sure its right BEFORE it goes to print, make sure the the dimensions are correct, its CMYK compliant and all the bleeds and trims are correct especially if it's an internet based printers.
