Male leg wax tips

This weekend I am waxing a guy's legs for charity at work. I haven't waxed a guy since college and even then we had about 2/3 of us waxing 1 guy at the same time as male clients were few and far between.
I know I'll be fine when I'm actually doing it but I want to make sure I'm 100% with what I'm doing.
I use warm wax and paper strips. Should I trim the hair first? Any tips?

Personally I only ever trim hair if its really long.

I use hot wax on the speedo line on the top and sometimes if men have chunky thighs that rub together you can at times get hairs that have snapped or are a bit short and I find a bit of hot wax picks them up easier, strip wax for everything else.

Thank you for that feeling a bit more confident now. I sat and got everything organised this afternoon and I've just been informed that we are having to postpone it for a few weeks but I suppose that gives us more time to raise more money. We're at £120 so far so it's going good lol.
