Do you call back?

I have voicemail and clients usually do leave a message but if they didn't would you call back?

Before last week I would have called back but I got a sales call from a phone company calling from a mobile number and not the usual "unknown".

Yes I would call back, mainly cause I'm nosey! Worth calling back if you think it is a potential client as some people just aren't into leaving messages. Also I find that sometimes people making an initial enquiry just try ringing all the numbers in front of them rather than ring one, make contact, leave a message and wait for them to reply.

You're right. My nose got the better of me as soon as you said that. Lol.

I really need to remember my mobile number. Whenever I leave a voicemail I always say, "you can give me a call back, my number is........ 07.." Then I remember it.

I have to call back when I get a missed call-unless its an 0870 /0800 number as im also nosey and hate not knowing who it was.
If its a dedicated business mobile then I would DEFINITLY call back as you know its a potential client.

NORMALLY a potential client. As I said last week I got a sales call from a mobile number.

i'm going to post from the view of a client/customer :D

i absolutely hate hate hate with a passion leaving voice mails! i hate talking on the phone fullstop so would much rather text or email. if i did phone (i wouldn't just phone once, i'd phone a couple of times) for some info/to book i wouldn't leave a voice mail and would expect the company to phone me back to be honest and if they didn't i would go elsewhere, i'd think they had bad customer service and not bother with them. at the end of the day there are plenty more companys who are willing to take my money and call me back/answer. so i def think it is always worth phoning back and if the number does turn out to be a sales call it's easy to put the phone down - at the end of the day you would have lost a connection charge if it is a sales call if it isn't it might just turn out to be a fabulous, regular extremely loyal customer.

whilst i'm talking about calls another thing that i think is just not acceptable is when a company tells you they will phone you back on a certain day or at a certain time and they just don't bother fullstop.
