Can this be used for your main sanitizer of your tools and files or is just a quick fix until the end of the working day? I know it says it can be used for tools and files, awell as hard surfaces but will i still need to still buy a sterilizer tray and separate liquid for the tools and files?
I was thinking of just spraying my tools and files after washing them in hot soapy water with this stuff and leave to dry.......or is that just plain stooopid?

Of course i would be getting the separate cleansers for mine and the clients hands and nail plate

Hi, I use the hard surface Mundo hard surface disinfectant spray when I am out and about mobile and it is more than efficient, I find. When I come home I use Mundo Rapid Instrument &Tool Disinfectant to immerse my tools. Love the stuff and the smell! :)

I use the Mundo Rapid Instrument &Tool Disinfectant too - it is so quick and easy to use in the immersion tray

Thankyou hun but is it necessary to submerge tools and files in a sanitizing liquid after washing and spraying with this stuff?

I have never used the spray, but according to the Mundo catalogue (just checked) it is suitable as you describe

Thankyou girlies

No it isn't hun, as I am going from client to client it does the job exactly as it says but I am so anal when I come home I immerse them in the rapid disinfectant too.

The safest option would always be to fully immerse the tools. You can always use the Mundo rapid Instrument & Tool Disinfectant in a screw top jar and take it around with you. As it only requires 5 minutes, you can disinfect your tools whilst packing up, then take them out and let them dry (or dry them on a Mundo Hard Surface Disinfectant Wipe, and then put the tools in a clean receptacle - such as a Sterilisation pouch.

Whilst the Sterilisation pouch won't sterilise the tools (unless you then put them in an autoclave), it keeps them clean and looks good when you get them out in front of your next client.

Thankyou for this info nigel...much appreciated :)

Good idea with the screw top jar too...been racking my brains for ages for an idea on mobile sterilizing!

Love the idea, but I'm not keen on carrying glass around in my mobile case. Everything I have is in plastic containers. Any suggestions for a container which won't leak but isn't made of glass?

Cheers,
Hazel

There are lots of different lock and lock plastic boxes - Lakeland Plastics and Tescos both do a big range from very small to really very big!
