Hiya ... they look ok for your first set...much better than my first set hun, well done.

I am guessing you have used a white tip...? white tips are great for those with a naturally long nail bed...otherwise they kinda cut the nail in half and create a look of more white than pink....i think if you reduced the length (therefore the white) these would look much better.

Also just taper the free edge in a bit so the nails done look flared out...some of them are fine but the middle finger does flare a little.

thanks for sharing and keep it up xxx

Thank you so much for your nice comment. I used white acrylic powder, should I maybe have used a white nail tip instead? Sorry for being silly lol
I see what you've said about the free edge flaring, will sort it hopefully.

ohh my mistake, sorry..in that case your smiles are very good and very neat...well done....stick to using white powder.:)

You have done a great job, I'm impressed that you used white powder and not a tip. Keep up the great work!

Thanks you so much. Nice comments like that mean a lot to me.

I have so so much to learn and I know it will probably take me ages, but I dont mind.
Ive been looking at the forum for months, bought a few books watched a few dvds. I know how you all feel about people not getting the correct training but I would never ever work on anyone elses nails apart from my own.
I am booked onto a training course but was itching to try. Sorry .
I know we have to buy the kit and all that goes with it when I start my course but I nipped into the beauty suppliers and bought all the stuff I needed in small quantitys to have a go on my own nails. As ive said I wont be messing about with other peoples apart from my own lol. Please dont shout

Well done on your first set, you are very brave to post. good smile lines:hug:. I wouldn't shout lol. we all get tempted to play with new stuff.

You have the right attitude hun - by booking onto a training course you have started a great career. Just remember that you must keep learning, your course will be just the start. Good luck and let us see how you progress:hug:
