Nice website. :)

looks very nice, I would like to see more info though. I find that a short bit about you always helps (optional picture), and definately a more specific idea of where you operate. I am sure it is not meant to be, but it comes over as a little vague? Also maybe who you qualified with/are insured with...all helps to reassure the public.

Great looking front page thogh - nice graphics :)

thanx for the feedback I know i need a little more info still working on it and also am gonna put a gallery up as well so potential customers can see my work

I think thats a really nice website you have there. 1 thing though that I find is not all people like calling mobile numbers, so I always provide a land line number and then I can also control the calls that come in, say someone is calling to sell something I can block their number and set the phone to refuse anonymous calls etc..so I dont have to put up with crank calls. My land line is also my home number, but it is cheaper for clients. I can understand if perhaps you are still at home and so the landline is the family phone.

thank you for that I never thought of it

I will add my landline number also

thanx for the great tip

Hi there, nice website, there is one thing that needs attention though, this bit
"A professional nail service in the comfort of you own home" is the "you" ment to be "your"? just thought i'd point it out for you.

Hi
The site does look good but could I ask a couple of questions about the site and make a couple of observations

Where are you hoping to go with your website, do you want to rank highly with google so if someone puts "nails sunderland" you will be on page one etc?

Or is it just for online prescence for your current clients and for people who already know your web address?

Your contact me link is a mailto: I am not sure if you are aware but out in the nasty side of the web there are robots that search for the mailto: link and love to send lovely things like trojan horses and at least spam your email account with endless rubbish, you really need a contact form with captcha script so robots cant send these types of problems.

I would make this a priority to change as these robots can check and index millions upon millions of webpages a day.

And as mentioned in a previous post I cannot tell you how important content is, if you are looking to rank high with the search engines, and if you do, you need to know how to play the google game.

With regards

I love your site, it's got a nice feel to it.
I did spot a few spelling mistakes though.
On the Treatments page, you've got 'to keep the enhancements looking at there best.' (should be THEIR)
On the Price List page, under the heading of Nail Enhancements, you've misspelled the words 'acrylic' and 'enhancement' twice, and also the word 'maintenance'.

Nice work.

thanx very much all spelling mistakes have now been amended and the contact button has now been removed anymore fault or spelling mistakes please forward them to me

thanks very much

sorry you didnt say if you wanted the site high up on google or you wanted the site for your current clients

Hi hunny just looked at your site and i think you missed the E off of "the" in best of the best? Maybe me being thick and miss reading?

Am I allowed to put a link up here for google to show how to get it searchable.

Sign up here

https://www.google.com/accounts/ManageAccount

when done this, find the local business centre, then place a listing, its free and it worked for me, I am at the top in google searches in my area for what I do.

Hi

Right let me just slip the technical hat on, You want to get to the top of google, in a previous post someone mentioned google business, this is very good for getting your site found by local area searches. And adwords is another good way of getting your site on the first page, but if you wanted to reach the top listings on the page "alot of people call this organic listing" there is much more work to do.

Can I let people reading this post know if you are thinking of obtaining adwords with google this does NOT help or improve your listing in the normal search, they keep the two companies seperate to stop unfairness. This is to stop people paying there way to the top.

With your site you need to add h1 h2 h3(header tags) etc tags to your text so Nails by Mel should really be in a h1 tag, and if you really wanted to play the google game in your H2 tags you should write for example "Welcome to Mels Nails, the best nail salon in Sunderland" the reason for this game is the robots pick up the header tags so now if a potential customer searches for "the best nails in sunderland" google thinks "hold on Mels nails has got alot of that search in here header tags lets get her up on the first page.

Just to add google does like to see an awful lot of links TO your site so the best and easiest way to do this is register with every business directory on the web if google sees your site over and over again in yell, gumtree, facebook, my space etc etc this will help pull you upto page one

And dont be mislead by people who claim that your keywords are the most important they are not, dont leave them out put approx 20 of them in but never rely on them.

If I have confused you a little with the H tags if you wanted you could email me your site and I will fix it FOC for you.

Hope this helps

Oh one more thing take the underscore out of the after_care.htm link use after-care.htm another thing fussy google does not like
