Just to update, I am currently arranging a 121 with an Akzentz trainer.

I have seen her nails online and am very excited to work with her. She said she can help me sort my Brisa problems and introduce me to some Akzentz products I may want to use in conjuction.

I think in the end, this has worked out much better for me.
Thanks everyone for your advice and guidance!:hug:

I'm sure you will love it...have fun xx

Oh good for you Alex, so glad you got it sorted!

Just a little update....

I recently went for my 121 with Anna Lajourdie (Anna from Toronto).
I had a great time and learned SOOOO SOOOO much.
I now am working with both Brisa and Akzentz gels.

Turns out my main problem was applying the gel too thin.
Never would have figured that out on my own!
After using soak off gels, I learned the app it totally different with buff offs.

Thanks everyone for your advice and input.
And thanks Anna and Ronn for a great day!

If you read the whole thread you'll see that this has already been resolved.

sorry, I'm brand new to this site and didn't realize recent posts are at the end. I assumed they would be the first ones and really, time permitting, I can't read through WHOLE thread. Glad you figured it out.
