Hi today i text the lady whos nails i did with Brisa Gel to see how they were doing.

She had very bitten nails with hardly any nail bed, so i did my best to make them look ok, i did say to her they may not last due to her natrual nail plate being so badly bitten.

She said they had all come off but 2. i was upset she didnt ring me to tell me and i would of had a look.

She said she will stick with Acrylic and the shop what usually does them, I do my own nails and know i can do them i just feel really upset this has happend.

Nail biters are notoriously difficult clients, but once their habit is broken they become clients for life. It's breaking their habit that's the problem.

Did she tell you how the enhancements had come off? I'm suspecting they had help from her teeth!

Don't upset yourself over it, it's sure to happen again at some point and you can't blame yourself for a habit you don't have any control over

Hi, dont take it to heart! Like said, she proberly had a little help from her gnashers, thats why she didnt ring to tell you! If they had "come off", any other person would of rang you and said "oh, they came off, can I can come in to you?" but she didnt, so that basically says it all to start with. I had a nail biter, full set of acrylics, looked lovely. She promised to look after them. Came in exactly a week later to have infills done as they had grown so much. Then a week later, her sister in law came in for her infills and said to me "oh, her nails fell off the day after you infilled them, all 10 of them!" I had no phone call or anyting from her. Then a few days later, I saw her in town and asked her what happened. She was extremely sheepish and was trying to hide her nails from me! Says it all really! xx

I totaly agree it makes you cross that they dont call you.
She said she is going back to the man who uses electric drills, and will do acrylics for her which dont come off?

i had a client that even before i did her nails i knew things werent going to go smoothly with her and i was right,i actually re did her nails free off charge for her and then she txt me and complained of a different problem and said SHE didnt have time to keep coming back(the cheek of some people, lol)i phoned my nail company as i had convinced myself that it was something i did even though i was wearing the same thing and had been for weeks with no problems.
i finally accepted that it wasnt my fault and moved on,i dont really know why she came to me in the first place as she doesnt usually.
you just have to realise that at some point this was bound to happen and just pick yourself back up,as you said you know you can do a good set of nails so just use this experience and get better with experience.x
