I'm looking to buy a dedicated nail table lamp and have my eye on this one
Daylight™ | United Kingdom | Slimline Table Lamp, Chrome

Is this going to be bright enough? I have appalling eyesight and need to have a very bright light if I have any chance of seeing detail. It's just that 60w doesn't seem very bright to me...

Thanks awfully!

I have this lamp and have found it to be excellent. I did get it cheaper than that price though I cant remember where. I got it for about £69 i think so its definitely worth shopping around!

I too have this lamp and it is bright enough. I got mine cheaper too. Think it was £65 plus VAT from www.justcarebeauty.co.uk

what i would recommend is 2 lamps, one shining from either direction. i find it very difficult to see in low light and 2 lamps work well for me.
if you have just one then they cast a shadow on the opposite side.
though there are some good linear slimline lamps that go right over your work area that are designed for nail techs. because the light is coming from directly above these probably wouldnt shadow.
