Having always been tought to blend clear and natural tips, i've always avoided natural tips and clear overlay as I don't think they look that natural. I'll do it if demanded lol, but i end up sculpting with natural and pink. Still not the look I wanted though. After having watched a youtube video from nailzoo, I noticed he applies natural tips and doesn't blend the tip.

Its a revelation, its just the look i've wanted to achieve. I can't believe it was something so simple.

Can anyone recommend some (no well) natural tips to buy? I've only got the ones I had at college would you believe, they are years old. Now I want to do a hundred natural tip sets, just like that, so a nod in the right direction would be appreciated. many thanks in advance, rachael

Yes it is, its always good to post personal recommendations I think. I've been on that site a few times, but they sell a few different brands, and I'd like to know specifically which brands geeks like. TYVM anyway! x

Hi,

do a couple of searches one for 'performance tips' and one for 'blending tips' .......I know I've read several post saying how good the performance tips are when people are having trouble blending.

Hi, I use nsi express tips. they do not have a well and are a very nice natural colour. I usually use a clear over the tip and then pink. They look really natural. The only problem is they have a deep smile on them and not everybody likes this so I also use tips from pro impressions. They have a good selection.

thanks so much, i'll go have a look, Rachael x x

If as you say you have a lot of old stock natural tips why don't you cut the well out and use these to practice with (then your not wasting them)until you feel you have it right then buy the well less tips. Before well less tips were available I have always cut the well out and pre blended before applying to the nail ever so slightly. Preformance tips are nice to work with.

I don't want to blend them though. I have seen a tutorial with natural unblended tips being used, for a more defined, yet still natural smile line. I have no probs blending, I just want to try a new technique, Thats why I need well less. Normally I would cut them, but I want a perfect crisp smile. Hope that makes sense! Thanks, Rachael x x x
