Hi all
I have a small salon and I'm having a problem with a customer who is claiming that a hair treatment that she had nearly 9 months ago has caused her hair to fall out. She says that the hair loss happened during the days after the treatment, but she only reported it to me a few days ago, she's now demanding that I pay her £800 because of the traumatic experience of hair loss! I do have business insurance which is supposed to protect me in situations like this.
Just to summarise, customer had a hair treatment, came back 9 months later and says it caused her to lose hair, shows me some grainy pictures which she claims are from just days after the treatment, and says I either pay her £800 or she'll take me to small claims court!
Have any of you had experience with a customer similar to this? I'd appreciate any advice.
