I need some advise.

I have had some problems with the Creative products the past long while... and especially, I have grown tired with the brushes. So I desided it was time for me to make new friends and test new playgrounds.

I looked around for quite some time, and saw the EZ Flow 508 oval brush, and thought.... that might be just what I have been looking for....
And it was. I am in love... it's my new best friend and I wilol never let it go. Why on earth isn't all brushes like that (and oval)!!!!?

So. I thought, If the brush is so good, maybe their system is what I have been looking for too.
And I can only say that it is really fantastic to work with.m It gave me the kind of chilly euphoric feeling, that creative used to give me.

I can't completly abandon Creative, after all it has been my only system for 12 years :) One day I hope I can get that feeling again... and maybe a little time apart is what we need, in order to realise that we can't live without eachother.

Anyways, as with all new friendships, we need to get to know each other, and so. I have a couple of problems I need help with.

I have bought the competition system, and it should be primerles. There is a bond included in the kit, and I use 2 coates before applying product (as the instructions say). Still I get some lifting.

As said earlier I have done nails long enough to know it is not prep, and I have no problems with lifting when using CND.
I am thinking maybe it needs a little more presure when applied, than CND, or I need the primer anyways.

Please help me brainstorm :)

I understand you may not think it not a prep problem, but EzFlow prep is different from CND prep, slightly.

Tell us your EzFlow prep procedure and we can go from there:hug:

Well, I do it like a CND prep, and then use the Ez Bond... You know Remove tissue, shape, remove shine, scrubfresh... and finish with Ez Bond just before i start.

OK, this was where I made my mistake with EzFlow.

Do a 'dry' prep, don't use cuticle remover (Cuticle Away) and neither do you need to use scrubfresh with EzFlow as you will be using Ez Bond.

I stopped using my CND cuticle remover & CND Scrubfresh & did a dry prep & had no more lifting issues. However, I'm pretty sure you can use Scrubfresh with most sytems, but try your EzFlow without those & see how you get on:hug:

Hi,

I agree with Bevrose with regards to the prep, that is how Ezflow teach their prep .
Also you say you have the competition range, the competition range of powders are usaully used with qmonomor and that system is not primerless and does require their primer.
If you want a primerless range from Ezflow then theirs is called High Definition , you can tho use the High Definition Monomor with thier A polymer powders as a primerless system.
Also the look of the bead when picked up (Ezflows Qmonomor/apolymer)
should have a glossy look to it , not a orange peel look like with CND.
The High definition range though when a bead is picked up should look more like orange peel.
Hope that all makes sense and i havnt confused you.......
Maybe to get the best out the system you want to use,a conversion course might be best, as imo Ezflow and CND do work differntly.

Can I ask if you were having no lifting with CND and you have used it for 12 years why you want to change and face the hassel of a new product?.. seems odd to me.
I use both the ultra sculpter and the ezflow 508 with CND products...
I also use the ezflow colours with Rentention + CND liquid.. no lifting...
I did try the monomer that came with the Colour collection on my self ( i always test and wear on myself and my poor mum).. lifted within 2 days..
I think if you are going to change over than take the great geeks advise above and do a converstion course.
I am sure that i wasnt doign the correct prep as mentioned above either. we are used to CND...

What ever you decide I hope it works well for you... you will love the colours in their collections... expec coming into X mas

I think youre right .....i did my first course with CND ( foundation) and found it very hard to get to grips with Ezflow when just having a go with them without being shown how to use their sysyem.
Once i did a course with Ezflow and was shown how to use their product, ie...prep, ratios etc ....i was absolutely fine using Ezflow.

Also Ezflow do say you can use their glitter powders with any traditional monomor, so if you love the colours but dont want to swap brands totally then its worth a try, like mdskora said.
I would say however that Ezflow products are very good and i have no problems with lifting the same goes with CND.

Mdskora, just wanted to say that if you used qmonomor, this does require a primer, so that might of been why you had lifting problems:hug:

I just think that you get lifting because you haven´t used their primer. since their mix ratio isn´t that hard to get the grips on since you probably notice when a bead is to wet or to dry after 12 years. q monomer is like mentioned before not primerless. you need to use their primer to avoid lifting.

In my experience I only ever got lifting when I tried to use cuticle remover when it should be a dry prep. I hated the dry prep on my own nails, the feel of it, but as soon as I went back to the procedure I was trained to follow I had no more issues.
