For quite some time now .....quite often there is a quarter page advertisement in the local newspapers, it's pretty fab and makes complete sense. Little do they know..... I feel many of these new infections are being spread in less than sanitary chain Nail & Pedicure Bars (NSS)

The advertisement sends you to the website Nail The Rot
The site itself is quite informative and has some interesting pictures.

Does this stuff really work Carl ??

Me thinks Loceryl must be doing a thriving business..thanks almost entirely to the dear old NSS:irked:
Fries and fungus to go:rolleyes:

Yes it does work very well, it comes with quite strict instructions on it's use, but it's quite expensive.
My first suggestion is Thymol solution or Listerine, then a product called Dr G's (a product sold at a few nail suppliers), but when it gets out of hand there's nothing quite like Loceryl

Is it just a more concentrated solution of the ingredients in the other products or has it got something different altogether.

I am curious as I have had 2 clients who have sought medical advice for this problem and they have been give oral medication, nothing to be put on the nails at all.

Some are put on oral medication (an internal anti fungal) Sporanox is one that is used here, Oral medication not on the national health system are SUPER expensive.

Thanks, just haven't hear of anything 'external' here that works

Google "Thymol solution"
Listerine (yes the mouthwash Listerine, it contains Thymol .......) and is a great starting point for these kind of problems, rather than being bled by a supplier relying on your gullibility.

Any solution for these kind of problems should be treated as individual (as in each nail, to lower the risk of cross-contamination) kinda like eyedrops, use a separate cotton bud for each nail, so you don't transfer from one nail to another

Great link thanks:hug:
