I've just come in from doing a client and feel like crying, after singing the minx praises for weeks now I've just had my first disaster.
I have used a hairdryer up till now to heat them up but my new lamp had arrived so I was rather excited to use it.
My client decided on the gold, she had stunning nails for extensions but the minx did not want to play. She had a really deep c curve, fantastic nails but I think with them being so deep I couldn't gewt the creases out from the sides.
I've done approx 10 sets of minx nails on clients and myself and never had a problem apart from today.
Could it be the shape of her nails or was I not heating them enough, they didn't seem as flexible as they did with the hairdryer.
After taking two off and replacing them she decided she didn't like the colour anyway which I was relieved about as I wouldn't have felt easy leaving them on.

I'm pretty sure I've read that if there is a very deep C curve you apply them from sidewall to sidewall - have to say I haven't tried it myself.

Yes thats right, just need to find someone with deep nails to practice on.
