Ive just started to learn acrylics and im looking at a gel top coat. Now i see that there are 2 that NSI do.

Glaze and Go and Perma Gloss.

Which one do you use and is one better than the other??

I use Glaze and go its brilliant and gives a really good shine, just make sure you cure it properly:)

i also use glaze and go and think its good but have had problems in the past with it cracking, maybe i just had a bad bottle because iv had no probs recently
you just paint it on like a nail varnish stick it under the lamp for 90secs and your ready to go
one of my hairdresser clients loves it cos the tint doesnt stain it too!!!

i find that Glaze & go is a lot better than perma gloss, with glaze & go you just have to paint it on like nail polish but with perma gloss you need to do a lot more and the shine is a lot nicer and lasts longer with glaze & go. Great product. i use it over all the nails that I do

i use glaze n go and it is much easier to use than perma gloss as you have to use prep for the prema gloss.it depends as perma gloss is more hard wearing as it protects all acrylic surfaces against acetone, water and household chemicals and i dont think its ment for use over gel although i may be wrong on that.x

I love Glaze and go, it is fantastic over hand painted nail art, easy to apply and has a high gloss shine. I use perma gloss dipped in opal shimmer which is from NSI for a sparkly gel top coat. With perma gloss you have to wipe of the sticky residue using a lint free nail wipe and cleanse and glaze and go sets without having to remove the sticky residue so you save on products as well!!

Both products are great, but here are some differences:

#1 - Application. Some people find that Glaze 'n Go is much quicker and easier to apply because it comes in a polish bottle. Perma Gloss comes in a pot (like a regular gel) and needs a brush for application. You also should prep the surface of the nail with Perma Gloss Prep, where you don't need a prep product for Glaze 'n Go.

#2 - Cure Time. Glaze 'n Go cures in 90 seconds, where Perma Gloss will cure in 3 minutes.

#3 - Shine & Durability. Perma Gloss has the highest shine and definitely lasts the longest (3 weeks or more). If you have a client who comes in for regular 2 week fills, Glaze 'n Go will do ya just fine.

We have application videos for both on our website you should check out: Learn NSI techniques for Acrylic Nails, Gel Nails & Nail Art by video.

You have to be registered on our site to see them, so if you aren't, go here first: NSI - nail systems international
