Olympia Beauty Show - is there better ?

Hi all ,

I went to the Olympia show last weekend and thought it was pretty bad. Poor turn out and fairly l obscure brands exhibiting.No big boys really to mention.

What shows are left this year ? What shows do you get along to and why ?

My fav show is exel, out at docklands, its easy to get to, parking is cheep and they lay on a free shuttle bus, the show is huge, everyone is there, I love it Close second is GMEX at Manchester, Parking can be a bit fraut if you've not been before but its a good show nice layout and most folks are there.

I think a lot of the big names don't bother with Olympia because it is too soon after Excel. Last year we had Earls Court in Sept and I thought that was better than Olympia. Not sure if Earls Ct is running this year, will have to find out...

I went to olympia after two and a half hours sleep (friends 21st birthday party) and wished I stayed in bed, what a waste of time and petrol money. I find the excel shows so much better.
